New Mexico Fermentation Festival returns to Gutiérrez-Hubbell House for the Third Year!
Edible Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Taos, a publication that celebrates New Mexico's food culture, will be partnering with the Hubbell House on June 23 between 10am and 5pm.
It's the only festival of its kind in the Southwest. This all-day even will feature twenty different fermentation workshops, including hands-on workshops, lectures, and tutorials. The festival aims to educate the public on the growing trend of preserving & enjoying fresh foods through fermentation.
The day will include:
series of fermentation workshops, a cheese mob, a kimchi mob, a suclture swap, fermented foods & product vendors, museum tours, books sales, food trucks, beverages, bike valet, live music, and more!
Proceeds form this event will benefit the Hubbell House Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to educating the public about, promoting interest in and advocating for the Gutiérrez-Hubbell House History and Cultural Center.
